2024 Applications now closed

To honour one of our core values – to support students in coral reef research in Australia – the ACRS will help to support direct conference costs (e.g., airfares, registration and accommodation) for a number of students to the maximum value of $1,000 AUD to attend the ACRS Conference in Perth, Western Australia from 6–8^th May 2024.

As a condition of the travel award, recipients must give either an oral, speed talk or poster presentation at the conference.

Thank you to those who have applied. Successful applicants will be notified by end of March 2024

PLEASE NOTE

Award payments will be made only upon completion of all award conditions.
Payments will not be distributed to recipients until after they attend and present at the conference, and satisfy their responsibilities (e.g., assisting at the ACRS merchandise booth).
Applicants should therefore expect to have to make arrangements to cover any up-front travel costs associated with conference attendance until all award conditions have been met
