The 2025 Australian Coral Reef Society conference will be held in Townsville from 16th-18th of September.

The Ville, Townsville, Qld (Wulgurukaba and Bindal country)

Over 3 exciting days in tropical North Qld, the coral reef community will come together at the beautiful “Ville” in Townsville, to share, connect and learn!

An initial schedule for the conference is as follows. This is being fleshed out as we speak with exciting workshops and fieldtrips.

Tuesday 16^th Sep:

• Afternoon workshops.
• Welcome drinks event.

Wednesday 17^th Sep:

• Day 1 Conference sessions with 3 streams.
• Evening poster session.

Thursday 18^th Sep:

• Day 2 Conference sessions with 3 streams.
• Gala Dinner at The Ville.

Friday 19^th September:

• TBA – Field trips in the surrounding area (e.g., Magnetic Is. Yunbenun)
